New Luxury Hotel

Buckhead is getting another luxury hotel, but this one includes condos and retail space. The Hilton chain is joining the luxury hotels with its first full-service hotel in Buckhead due in 2009.

The 300-room, 44-story, $240 million hotel, being built by a joint venture of Atlanta-based Sandcastle Resorts and Day Capital Partners, and will be located at the corner of Peachtree and North Stratford, across from the Atlanta Financial Center and the new Intercontinental Hotel. Also being built on the site is 191 condominiums by Wood Partners, along with a four-story retail structure.
